Once you complete the video, you disembark into a series of games that show possible future uses of tech. At this point, your car rotates and you are asked a series of questions that the computer uses to show you, in a Jetson’s type illustration on your screen, your future from your choices.
The crowning moment, at the top of the sphere, shows a picture of earth from space. Your car travels through pre-historic times to Egypt, a Phoenician on a ship, Rome, the middle east, Greece, the renaissance, the 19th and 20th century, and through the information age. Currently, with COVID, the park is requiring masks to be worn while inside a building so you have to wear them on the ride. Your car moves up into the sphere where your picture is taken. You get into cars that fit 2 people in each set of rows with 2 rows per car. It saved hours as the waiting line was very long. EPCOT which began as Walt Disneys elaborate dream for a utopian society has always been a bit of an odd duck in the greater Orlando theme park arms. The other way is to get a lightning Lane pass for a specific time. The first is to get in the line and wait. There are two ways, currently, to get onto this ride. It is a moving ride through the history of mankind starting at prehistoric times and going to the future. This is the large sphere that is at the entrance to EPCOT and is easily visible from almost any place in the park.
